| Wow....sometimes I still have a hard time believing we are really finished with our BI year. The first morning I was home my brother woke me up and I am almost had panic attack because I didn't know where my campers were or where I was or who is person was waking me up.....it was an intresting 30 seconds before I remembered!
I really do miss the bubble. I had a conference this last weekend for a program I am in through my college and it was my first time being out in the real world w/o my WOLBI people and wow was I nervous but God is soooo amazing! I had been praying that I would be able to make my own "bubble" next year. The girls that I rode with on the van 5 out of the 8 seem to have a strong faith and we had some great conversations on the way there. Then the 2 guys that were on my team were also believers and pretty outspoken about it and then.....we had devos one morning as a group whoever wanted to which I thought was great but.....my room slept through them so then we had our own us 3 girls and we read James 2 and talked alot about faith w/o works and how we need to be telling others about Christ since we know how they can have eternal life if we aren't then we have their blood on our hands so it was definatly a challenge to us since so many in our program aren't saved and I was just so encouraged to see God's hand in the people that were around me! Be praying that I get opporunties to talk with some of them...
Plus....my roommates, particulary the one who was the newest Christian she grew so much this summer and it was so exciting to listen to her talk about her faith and about how hard her summer was because of family problems and how God was the only reason she got through it and then we talked about thew 4 of us praying together before bed at night! SO needless to say I am sooo excited for this to year to begin (a little nervous well maybe alot! lol) and I feel so blessed that God has put some great people around me to encourage me to grow and keep me accountable.
I miss everyone soooo much! And I really am gonna try and keep up with this....really! | | |
| OK so I guess that I'm suppossed to update every now again...lol Other than kinda wrecking (he calls it that, all I did was kinda chip the paint pretty bad but it all worked out and its fine now oops) my brother's truck my break has been great since my intial truck troubles. I think that maybe I should stop driving all together!
Its been so nice being home and being at my church! I love it there, its like my second home cause I'm always there. We're building a new building for the youth and HOLY COW its HUGE. Its next to the sanctuary and it looks almost bigger. I'm a just a little jealous that I'm, not really gonna get to enjoy the new building!
I'm really excited cause tonight we are having a nerd party. There were 7 of us girls in high school that called ourselves "the nerds". I'm kinda nervous too cause the last time we all hung out things got intresting when the conversation turned to spirituals things cause half of us are on the same page and the other half are not. Pray that God will give me the right words to say to them so that they can understand cause right now half of them don't at all...It really saddens me to see some of my friends going down paths that they shouldn't be...grrrrrrrr I love them though they made high school a blast!!!! Gotta run now and get ready for my grandma's b-day party

| So Christmas break is off to an intresting start...I got a ticket on the way home and then this afternoon I got rearended but thankfully my truck is nice and sturdy and the bumper is just a little dented but the van that hit me....wow! I definately doubled my police encounters in less than 24 hours from 2 to 4...hahahahahaha but it is soooo nice to home! I love it! My christmas tree is up so I got to do my favorite thing....turn it on with all the lights off at night its just so pretty! | | |
| So now I have a xanga. I'm such a loser...hahahah, I have a xanga, facebook and myspace! I'm really gonna try and keep up with this so I can keep in touch with all my WOLBI friends!
Today was pretty awesome. I got to counsel an 11 year old girl today and she was just so cute! After we had been talking awhile she accepted Chrsit as her savior and then righgt when we finished praying she hugged me, I hadn't even had time to open my eyes yet! It was just sooooo encouraging. I had been having kinda of a yucky day but after that I couldn't stop smiling! Isn't God amazing!
I'm gonna attempt to clean up a little now so that by Monday I will be ready to head home. I'm sooooooo excited!!! | | |
